Fitted HEL clutch line that has been in the toolbox for over a year, nice fresh fluid bled through ok.

Changed a couple of grotty fasteners.

Came in & watched England just beat the French, result!!

Thats not what I forgot, well it is but not what I mean!! Look where my finger is pointing!

The missed bit is hidden by the rear caliper anyway!

Thinking about wrapping the downpipes.

not my bikes but today fitted bazza's ccts to goodys & si mcneil's stormy.

goodys was easy, took 1 1/2 hrs, no probs at all apart from cable routing on his heated grips which meant airbox off again!
also fitted 2 long stacks as his motor is stock.

si's bike... he's only had it 2 weeks but needed ccts doing... again cheers bazza for helping him out so quick :)
could not get the flywheel nut cap off so had to do it the long way, both cam covers off, turning it over in 5th with the back wheel on the stand.
also fitted 2 longs and qat mod with 2 spacers to give 1/4 turn to wot, and a 15T front sprocket.... advised him to be very carefull for a few miles til he gets used to it lol!
should be wicked!
had a bit of an issue with popping on over-run so checked the pipes were ok & carb clamps nice & tight.... couldnt find awt wrong with it & cam timing is spot on.
only other issue was his plugs are fkt with a 1.5mm gap lol - see what it's like with a new set & if it persists i'll have another check next weekend :)

his already has the front line for balancing but ran out of time, and also said id check the tps next time he's here.

just got his bike stripped for the front cct and bloody fone rang - called out from work lol!
managed to sort it over the fone though so didnt have to leave the bike in bits!

all in a productive day & 2 happy chaps, hopefully 2 more storms now rendered indestructable!

Dont feel quite so bad about what I did to mine today now lol

I started off by removing the lights and exhaust because I wanted to give them a bit of an update (got a new can coming and fitting projectors to the headlights)

and then one of my mates came round...

Turns out he likes making changes just as much as me lol

I needed the wheels out anyway for new tyres. Removed the subframe for powdercoat. I'm sanding down the undertray for a fresh lick of paint as it had a few chips in and will be painting the for legs black also. Hope I remember where all the bits go lol

White wheels are the best = FACT lol

They are an absolute complete and utter b8stard to keep clean, but WELL worth it. IMO they update the bike no end and make it look much more modern 8)
