Great, thanks Lloydie. The front calipers I changed out for some blue spot ones from a Thundercat, I'll need to strip the rear one and replace the seals and pistons. Everything else is fine, just needs a good clean. Nice to ride but feels underpowered after the Storm.
It's a shame they only have power of a 400 but tax and insurance of a litre bike !!
They look and sound great tho and I wouldn't say no to one

Looked at the flat back tyre, went back inside and ordered some goop of eBay !!!

You'd be better off changing the tyre mate or the very least getting it plugged ( not something I would do though ). That emergency repair stuff is more trouble than its worth mess wise imo.

I thought that stuff could be left in for the life of the tyre and was good stuff, I heard some people put it in as puncture prevention

I put that repair foam in a wheel barrow tyre a few years back, I put to much in, luckily I had walked 10yds away before it exploded....
as far as I know, it's purely to get you out of trouble, but I have heard of people riding with it for ages, I wouldn't have an issue with a plug repair, these days they're really good.

Think that stuff is tyre weld, this stuff, the makers say can be used for the life of the tyre, got it from busters on line bike shop

Fitted my freshly pimped up Sp1 master cylinder, filed my fork legs just enough to accept the Sp1 calipers and painted the filed areas.
Just waiting on a pad pressure plate and the Sp1 caliper project is complete
Also reset my carb fuel screws to the "base settings" as I didn't do a very good job of twiddling them before Wales a while back... it was running like a 1 legged spider.

what's a pad pressure plate?
fitted a ti spindle bolt, fitted some ti disc bolts and on the 10th bolt I snapped one....doh!!!!!!!
now the wheel has to come off for me to extact the end of the bolt.....bollox, this is why I shouldn't play with motorbikes....

A pressure/spring plate is the thin piece of metal which applies pressure to the pads to stop them rattling about. Got one from Jonesey and David Silver is sending one out

commonly known as an "anti-rattle " spring i.e. its spring steel to push against the pads and stop movement.allows a bit of flex etc.
