Put the bike back together so I can at least get around while the car is gone getting new glass .
Finished lapping the valves in on the race heads(after ck kindly took them to work and gave them a good clean out

) and picked you a valve spring compressor so tonight I can rebuild the heads ready for shims .

Valves fitted ,new seals and what not . Just a small mod to a cam cap to do now then I'll get hold of a shim kit to set the clearances so they'll be ready to fit once the rest of the engine is done .

fitted some cheap nylon spacers onto the bikes exhaust hanging brackets, so I could space them out to fit the givi rack, took ages to get the exhausts positioned how I want them, it's still not perfect, as one end can is now higher than the other.....
I also cleaned the bike barn, I noticed it was getting green and mouldy, also it didn't seem as waterproof as it used to be, so I scrubbed it clean and applied some canvas waterproof spray, fingers crossed that'll keep the water at bay over winter...
I even managed to give the bike a quick polish,,,,

nope, and I even managed to blag another ti bolt for free, I really can't fault the seller, I will be posting nice things about them in the correct area.
I am thinking of buying a small torque wrench that'll torque up the smaller parts, my wrench doesn't go below 30nm....
got my eye on one of these, should be good for most of the jobs, and i'll have my other one for the tougher stuff.

How will an Ohlins shock help you torque ya nuts up...
Still on the plus side a real small torque wrench will be ideal for stirring Carl's coffee...

Hi All,
I'm new to this so thought i'd stop in, introduce myself and seek some knowledge from the guys in the know...
I am considering buying some KOSO RX2N Digital clocks to replace my old ones, just wondering has anyone done this before as I wanted to check out how it looks, or has anyone got any better suggestions?
