Remember to let the paint harden before clearing it or the paint will bleed through

Tonight Mathew, Smoking Joe has risen from the depths and been bodged back to health ready for a frosty ride at 6am tomorrow.
Fitted: mirrors with indicators, indicators front and back, full fairing, recovered seat, rewired rear lights, Lloydies 2-1 exhaust with SP hanger, removed the digital dash sensor, puig screen, rear seat lock assembly, undertray, made a tail tidy, adjusted chain and checked tyre pressures...
Still looks sh1t

Thanks mate, I had to reshape the foam and add some at the front to level it up as the subframe is jacked up, at least something looks good on it

the seat looks really good
I'm slowly taking mine to bits, keeps me off the slippery roads and stops getting the thing covered in salt.
Plans are to give it a good full service and send the forks off to get Roger'd. Depending on how much I take off it 'may' get a satin black frame too...

Ordered rings , co rod shells , con rod bolts , clutch nut, out put shaft seal , push rod seal, gear selector seal,
Best part of £200 for that lot and still need to order the crank shells and shim kit . I'll get them in the new year
Oh and started to clean up the crank cases :-)

I took mine for a quick blast today, first time its gone anywhere for about 6 weeks.
when I got out of town and got a little warmth in the tyres it was fun but you can see why its more of a summer thing.
greasy roads , low sun and it took me about 20 minutes to get my gear on !! . knackered

Yep these roads ain't no fun ,
I was going around a roundabout and lost the front ,managed to save it .
then went into a two wheel slide and saved that too !
That wet track day really heightened my feel for when the tyres start to slide and I believe had I not done that wet track day I'd be posting a "I binned it thread"!
