Your a complete pair of twats !

The only thing you get transplanted from pigs is heart valves.

The piece of bone used in the graft is from a human donor...a dead one. The consultant called it 'Cadaver Bone'. Bit spooky but there you go.

Oh trust me I'm taking it real easy, just told my manager that it could be two months plus before I'm back at work, he took it quiet well considering.

Nah pain is just a girls way of making an excuse to cry... I'm hard as nails me...just grit me teeth & carry on...

TBH aches a bit if you stay in one position too long other than that the odd stab of pain if you catch it wrong, I take that as a warning...

I'm always a bit stiff in the mornings but at least that proves that something is still working correctly...

Not having much luck with that wrist hey Mac. Hopefully they get it in the right place this time and you can be left to recover.

He's lucky they are actually bothering to fix it They could juts let it heel in the wrong position and be done with. You will just have to learn to live with it sort of attitude.

The one thing that sometimes gives me most grief from my accidents is my 3 toes that heeled in the bent/broken position while lying in a hospital bed. They just never bothered to straighten them out as they where more concerned about my other injuries and now they rub on my boots. :( they need re-braking and re-setting.

PITA aint it! My right thumb is 1/3 of an inch shorter because they set it completely bent, I had it reset twice after the original A&E visit, but they did it so bad in there the later visits were unable to sort it out, it broke right at the base of the first join so it was not easily visible to the eye, but when I started to do physio, it just wouldn't extend anything like as far as the other one, the joint was moving as far, but the thumb was still pointing in the wrong direction.

I learned a valuable lesson tho, if you do have an accident, get off the bike before you hit, it WILL hurt you. I had been told before to let go of the bars, but didn't understand, when I came off I tried to hold the bars and brake (even though the front wheel was in the air) then when the wheel hit the ground, bars flicked back straight past my thumb and took it with it, very common apparently, but if I ever come off again, my hands will be letting go instantly, I will not forget passing out from the pain of having it reset without any gas!

Hope it goes ok anyway and they give you some painrelief.

Matt

How soon until you can hold a spanner tight enough to get your bike fixed?

Heard from the ins people yet?
