Your welcome Tim, nice bike you've got, post up some pics when you've got the proper fairing on, it'll work better than the plastic bag

Cleaned it, polished it, put the scottoiler on it...
Got a few other bits to do; need to fit my GPS mount and run the wires back to the battery. And I need to find some link pipes so I can put the viper cans on it.
Other than that, plan on riding it

Put new blue spot callipers on, still can't bleed the twats. I serviced the m/c but still can't get pressure. Hate front brakes
Still it was nice having a Chinwag and a beer with Mac when I dropped his Abba stand back

Had new front tyre fitted today (rear next week) to the bird and played with the rear shock .
It handles better now :-)
Ck and I went for a play down the lanes and it wasn't long before I got my knees down on it :-).
I'm really gelling with it
A bit later ck and I swapped bikes just so he can have his first ride on a il4 .
Anyway I ragged the butt of the rsv ,what a bike it is very fast and handles beautifully but I had to stop and give it back after 10 minutes due to the wind force compressing my neck and giving me unbelievable pain (I'm still hurting now :-( .
That rsv would be great if I was 2f shorter like ck !
Someone my size not good at all ,I couldn't wait to get back on my bird .
The only place on our run the rsv out preformed the bird was in the tight twistys .
The bird just didn't what to flick over , I know it's not a sports bike tho with a few mods I'll sort it out :-)

Flack you shouldn't need to polish or wax it for months ,
Just was and buff , it had 3layers of finns wax and 3 layers of hydra wax last weekend.
Really nice to know your looking after it

Pleased you are enjoying the bird Lloydie. They are a handful in the twisties due to the weight of them, but they make up for it in the straights...

The power is addictive, and it's just deceptively quick.
I gave Kermit a couple of coats of Chemical Guys Jetseal - shouldn't need to wax it again for 12 months now

Need to wind the preload off a bit on the front and rear shocks, set too hard for me. If I can find my spanners...

Just remembered a 3mm spacer on the top of shock works really well with a BB, bit like a storm.
