Question for you lot about bar end mirrors, Ive got Renthals on the way. Do Bar end mirrors fit in them ok?
Took mine for a nice hour long flite today. Im glad the local boys in blue were off eating doughnuts.
Changed suspension settings for the riser bars as being more upright left me to soft at the back and to hard at the front.
Later on we are off on our Bandit for a few hundred miles to look at this to tow our track bikes around,

You may have issues with aluminium renthals as they have a very thick wall thickness, so a standard insert for a bar end doesn't fit. Clamp outside ones are fine (and better)
I am trying these, which are an exact copy of my mates that cost £35 each. They come with bar ends but the plastic bit inside the clamped part will clamp straight over the outside of standard bars.

Changed the rear bolt and rubber boot on the rear caliper - now works a treat

Altered the rear hanger bracket and gave it a 210 mile road test then washed it! Joy

Ordered a LiFePo4 battery.
Let's see if it turns over the engine, and lasts.
Can't complain about cost- £65.89 delivered from Germany.

After her first ride on the storm,we went for another yesterday
Stepped things up a bit, did about 30 miles,
accelerated a bit harder...
and she still enjoyed it (even overtook 3 cars

)
Cant help but think this is gonna cost me more money!!

Not today, but finished bedding the engine in last night. Come Saturday morning I will be able to give her a proper thrashing
Also, the fuel economy isn't bad considering that was down the A5 between Milton Keynes and Rugby (both ways, there in the afternoon when it was light and back when it was dark).. I was giving it some on both instances, and then just cruising on the motorway from Rugby to Birmingham..
Not convinced anyone yet?

Sweet!
And I'll bet there are still a few more mpg to be had once she has a few thou on her clocks and the motor has loosened up properly
Still a souless ugly beastie. Just remember you can't polish a turd, the best you will accomplish is to roll it around in glitter
