Looks like it's done a good job. A job for outside if it makes a mess then. I hope you wore a mask.

Who welded that ? He needs shot .
Add more weld and then smooth off
And will last where as filler won't .

Tank reshape

Post by Flatline »

Have decided to have a go at reshaping the tank

Will be trying to make it a bit more rounded

The areas along the top edges which shows as the reverse "V"

It's quite flat so I will add a bit of a curve to it

Here goes............... :eek2

Now the discs

Post by Flatline »

The centres of the discs are in poor condition and they are gold coloured

Time for a refurb methinks..........black or red...........hmm

Black fork bottoms

Black calipers

Red disc centres? Might look tasty

Image

I wish I could use photoshop to see what it looks like in red or black :sad2

Is that a hint

You have bean busy. You still have a bit more light filling to do on that tank. Use some wet n dry in the final stages of filling and it wil be nice and smooth.

OK Photoshop here I come.

A couple of roughs.

Give me a picture of the front end and we can see how it looks as a complete thing. With the Black callipers and Black fork lowers. I'm thinking the Red disks would be better.
