Not exactly "done" but got a pillion seat for the SP2 from the states today. Pillion pegs and hangers are on their way, again from the states.
Soon, I'll be able to take my daughter out for a ride on it as promised. Then the seat comes apart so I can use the base to make a rack for camping gear.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Took the zxr for a spin, forgot how well it rides. Power wheelies from 9000rpm up to 4th gear.

New MOT and fresh shiney tyres
first MOT since 14 bikes been in a shed for 2 years!
no advisorys
Need to bed the tyres and then its off to Nurenburg

just had a nice run out to test my cbr brake setup.great initial bite and power but like one or two others on here i now have a high speed vibration presumably the stock disks dont always like the change in caliper ?!! oh and my spedo bulb has blown honest officer :roll: looks like i might be saving up for a pair of disks :thumbdown:

Check all the bobins are freely moving, give them a good spin, nut & bolt through & spin back & forth to clear the crap out. Use some brake cleaner as well.
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Gave the bird a much needed wash and wax .
Lubed the chain too .

Sounds daft but try swapping the discs over to the other side .
It worked for me before

ok could be worth a try.would that not have them spinning the wrong way ?just thinking about the direction arrows or dose that not matter?
