The snow plough finally made it up our road, just in time
for a quick test run on silverstorm

Ok, maybe I was slightly exaggerating about the snow !
serviced front brakes and bled em
Glad I serviced them last year as only I slightly sticky piston,
just a clean up really,
Fairing reassembled, and refitted
Just gotta re bleed the clutch and an oil change, and I'm done for the summer !!

Bled the brakes and booked it in for a valve clearance check (shims - "shudders")

Looks nice that, I'm starting to like silver and black
After using my bike for my commute to/from work, I've noted down a few things which require attention.
Required:
1 - Oil/filter change.
2 - Stator change.
3 - Every dash bulb.
4 - Front/rear tyres.
5 - Rear shock service.
6 - Mcct tension check.
7 - Front brake lever change.
8 - Caliper piston clean/lube.
9 - Carb balance.
10 - Headers polish up.
I'd better get saving...

Cheers for the suggestion Mav, what sort of price do you think a storm owner would be looking at? Would it keep the 'rusty brown look' at bay?
Today was my day off (as I work Sat), so I went to T.K.Cope Yamaha as I remembered I had a 75 quid voucher from a talk night with Nick Sanders. So I went and grabbed some oil, filter and some winter cleaning products.
Now the bike is freshly oil & filtered as well as looking much less salty

£120 ride-in, ride out including shims on an exchange basis, if you come over to Sevenoaks.
I'm doing one this Saturday.

+1 on the above. I was bricking it with regards to fitting my own mccts. However I am glad I did items genuinely think I could do it lot quicker if I had to do it again.
Go for it mate.
