I live in southwest Norwich in Bramerton about 5 minutes walk from the Woods End Pub. You might know it because it is a popular biker pub in the summer.Jonesey wrote:Whereabouts in norwich do you live Jimmy?

Its blowing back from both carbs equally. Its quite un nerving to see flames inside the carbs all beit only small flashes.warby221 wrote:goody wrote: I tried adjusting mine until I felt a bit of tension on the bolt but what with the drag of the o ring on the bolt it was too hard to tell.
Just roll the o-ring up the thread a little with a screwdriver![]()
As for the chuffing from the air box
Take the air box lid off and see if its blowing back from the rear carb if it is let us know

Doh!!!
I left the pipe that comes from the front carb and goes to the little round thing screwed to the airbox off, it was only a thin pipe and in fairness was easy to miss. I dosen't sound like thomas the tank engine at idle and doesn't spit back at the carbs anymore
Happy days. Off for some rideing now me thinks as the sun is shining

Re: Fitted my APE CCT's today, a couple of questions though.
Just on the back of this post, small bit of advice wanted on Manual CCT's please.
I plan on replacing mine this winter, but was wondering? - On the standard Honda automatic tesioners the end is covered by quite a large black shaped piece that would seem to fit against the chain adjustment blade. Is it just the case of installing the manual CCT's with the small rounded metal end of the bolt straight against the blade?
Cheers
Nigel
