Timbos not a chippy either Chris, he was thinking exactly the same as me! It might be a chunk of wood, but the screws are aero dynamically aligned

Maybe, but think what the wiggly grain will do with your airflow fluid dynamics, and the rear edge release needs a smoke test at least- might be worth .1 or .2 of an MPH, and over that distance........
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

OMG, didn't think of that! I hope it doesn't ruin the tank range

Noticed you went for dome head screws as well Pete, Good thinking Cheese heads would cause more drag and you want any air or gases that build up behind you to flow away freely, into Dave's helmet vents if possible
Okay, Dome head?...Cheese Heads? Steady lad, don't confuse me with your technical psyco-babble.... Gases into Daves helmet Hmm! I can remember that bit, :fart1:

Great effort! Why stop at that size? You could have it the size of a harley pillion chair...

That really is a great idea...well done

Maybe next year I'll go to Mugello. I have friends in Milan and a place to stay near Pescara. Could be a super trip.

Enjoy
No bike (yet).
