You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

So; could the addition of a 100mm length spring of the correct Nm be an improvement of the standard one, for those who don't have the budget to re-spring?

Anyone know of a spring mnfr?
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
