is it possible to use them with the 16l tank as it has a vac tap ?
or would i need to change it to a proper tap ?
inTech vacuum control system?
Re: inTech vacuum control system?
Little buggers are a bit of a challenge to find but I finally located a model which uses a 3/16" inlet so I think I will try to hook up both cylinders to it via a "T". This will likely become a winter project..... The fact that you got yours to work inspires me to try it too (albeit slightly differently).....

Well, I am taking the plunge, lol
Inspired by Benny, I finally found (what I deem to be) a suitable valve:

I just ordured one up (less the elbow on the far left side) and will be hooking it up to both cylinders via a T and the necessary hoses. Hopefully it will work as well as Ben's......

Re: inTech vacuum control system?
nice one mik... im sure you will find an improvement in cornering speeds as you will be able to coast in like a 4...
and coming down the box into a bend there is no wheel hopping engine braking, or very little depending how you set the valves up.
probably best to run them outside the airbox to get the setting right then when youre happy with the effect you can mount them under the air filter.
lloydy all i did was attach it to the balancing lines... doesnt matter what tank you have assuming you have 2 vac lines from the inlet ports.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Ben,
what side are the balancing lines needed?
cheers

i mean the carb balancing hoses, from the little adapters on thr intake stub under the carb.... this is why it doesnt need to be a big valve.mik_str wrote:Ben,

Re: inTech vacuum control system?
Thanks Benny,
there was a typo error in my question. What I meant was what SIZE are the hoses needed (ones taht come off the vacuum feed). I will have to get some so may as well know what size I need (will also need to get a T with a 3/16" end on the solo side and small ends same O.D. as the vacuum port).
thanks in advance
