I hate it when the ladies do that on the copier, it used to be funny but now it's just plain irritating....
Since I'm a nube here, think I might go and start a a load of threads without using the search button, might start with "What's a regulator?" "Why is my bike making a clicking noise?" "There were lots of clanking crashing in my engine, is it the CCT?"

Kinki University eh
agree with the condemnation of the sensationalist reporting - typical.
as well as spreading fear it has also probably knocked billions off the value of japanese stocks & shares.

There were lots of reports comparing our problem to Chernobyl, but the focus on radiation has taken attention from the real issue which is the lack of power/food/medicine/shelter/blankets for those left homeless after the tsunami. The earthquake shook the hell out of us but life is quickly getting back to normal in Tokyo and the reports of the city being a ghost town was ridiculous. The death toll up there is huge....
I'll admit, seeing all the devastation and loss of life made me really feel for you guys

Very heart breaking for sure.
Chris.
PS. On a brighter note, welcome to the forum gordthebiker

After seeing a pic on the US Superhawk forum of a near fire under the seat, I kinda got scared and ordered a r1 r/r. So started taking the back end off and find this! Just in the nick of time maybe? The previous owner must have replaced the original with the finned later model but it was on its way to a melt down...
Will finish soldering etc when it stops raining tomorrow...

that mightve happened with the old r/r mate, before it was changed?
