I usually get about 100 to 110 out of my 2000 storm before the light comes on, thats out riding with the lads, when i went to the isle of man up the m6 at about 85 to 95mph i got 130 miles before the light came on, can't complaine at that....... :beer:

They are most definately thristier, my Storm used more than my SP2 and my SP2 used far more than my K6 Thou. The Storm was the thirstiest but still managed 100 miles before RLOD ( less if brutal with the RH) to a tank without too much hassle.
I wouldn't know. Only had the Storm for 10 years now.

Why not buy a VTR250?
Better fuel economy for sure, and you'll have the Storm for when you don't feel like saving fuel and need a good thrash.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
