Check swing arm as previous says and if ok drill a couple of 5mm holes in and get it undersealed apart from that they are bullet proof, better than a 1300ST

looks nice. they are supposed to be the dogs for touring. a mate at work was thinking of getting one so we googled it up and a reocurring theme was "pan weave". have a look. apparently some police forces have got rid of them due to the dreaded weave??

Almost, it was the new 1300 pan that got ditched by the feds coz they handled like sh1t with the weight of all the plod gear onboard.

Yep that was the ST1300, the miltary loved the ST1100. No probs at all.

When i lived in paisley there was a bike cop lived up the road he said they were told not to pursue anyone over 100 mph because of the danger to them with the probs with the bikes being overloaded and handling crap.
