i think it suits the bike really well and it would deffo make wheelies easier.......
I thought about selling it, but if I want to refit it I can and if I get another bike (in addition, I might add :) ) it might fit on there. I always thought it looked OK and hard luggage is great when you are touring as you can just lock up your helmet and leathers, put on some jeans and trainers and relax.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Animal/mattster : I just had a look on the Ventura website and the panniers look like urrrm ............... panniers, do they fit differently ?

tony.mon : I like the budget option but got a slight problem in that as soon as I reach for my bike keys my 15 year old daughters running for her leathers 8O shouldn't complain though, she could be out with her chavvy mates, drinking and smoking !

Stratman : Veeeeery posh mate but out of my budget .

You need to look at the bike pack system and not the panniers.

I went down the route of beefing up the bodywork & bodging some pannier rests - photos on this old thread:

That Givi set doesn't look complete, on mine there is a bracket that sits under the seat at the sides, also see http://www.givi.co.uk/attachfile/conten ... n_251f.pdf

I have only used it with very light loads as i wonder about the effect of having much weight that far back.
