After....lots of elbow grease & polish....
I use the standard Honda Graphite packing gasket as in the link above, get some new clamps as well. Arco do them, known as ''super clamps'' a lot cheaper than Dave Silvers/ Wemoto.
With enough elbow grease you can make them shiny shiny (just dont expect them to stay shiny ) & it will be a lot cheaper than re-sleeving them, IMO if you may as well by a new pair of cans than re sleeve them. As for the noise the PJ engineering link will also sell you packing & baffles if you want to quieten down, although for the life of me I can't understand why you would want to!
