How comes you want Titanium castle nuts Tony or is it just for weight and aesthetics? I'm wondering if you have a problem with yours.

Re: timing hole plug
They are the castle nuts that go through the frame to mount the engine

Re: timing hole plug
They often seize in the frame- mine have been chopped out and replaced by a length of M12 studding, a temporary bodge I did years ago to get the bike back on the road following yet another engine rebuild.cybercarl wrote:How comes you want Titanium nuts Tony or is it just for weight and aesthetics? But it worked so well I left it there.
Mark took pity on me and said he'd make me up a decent set to replace my temporary bodge of three years ago.
And as they're lighter....every little helps

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I think they may be a one of special for Tony as group buys have not been mentioned.
