How comes you want Titanium castle nuts Tony or is it just for weight and aesthetics? I'm wondering if you have a problem with yours.

There you have it - Kev has black storm envy and all the piffle about blue this and blue that is all a load of nonsense from a bloke in denial

  Must be my cans. On mass if you add up the Titanium on my bike there's probably more. Kev's more of a Carbon man, it's the Black he's adding to speed it up.

I reckon they are about the third of the weight of the standard ones..

They are the castle nuts that go through the frame to mount the engine

They often seize in the frame- mine have been chopped out and replaced by a length of M12 studding, a temporary bodge I did years ago to get the bike back on the road following yet another engine rebuild.
But it worked so well I left it there.
Mark took pity on me and said he'd make me up a decent set to replace my temporary bodge of three years ago.

And as they're lighter....every little helps
