Re: How long to change a bulb
this has got to be a record - ducati multistrada... pilot bulb.
5hrs in a ducati dealer. if you can find one that will do it.
diy = forget it lol!
when they build them basically they start with the bulb suspended in zero gravity then assimilate the rest of the bike around it.
you can actually take it apart yourself.... if you want to streetfighter it lol.

You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.

Re: How long to change a bulb
My best headlamp saga was with a Peugeot 807. Neighbour asks me to have a look as her son has tried to replace a front indicator bulb and it has fallen into the headlamp. I soon work out that pushing the new bulb in through the rubber seal unscrews it from the holder, anther bulb falls in
Another neighbour is a mechanic, he comes to look and tries to remove the headlamp, after a while he asks me to ring Peugeot technical helpdesk for an answer, I explain the problem to them only to be greeted with the reply "Oh, nightmare!" it seems the whole front of the car i.e. grille bumper assembly has to come off
Well it got resolved by a main dealer for the staggering sum of £400........

on my renault megane you speed things up a great deal by taking the front wheel off so you can access the little trapdoor in the wheel arch. i didnt believe it to start with but could,nt do it without taking the wheel off
