Yeah that's the only thing holding me back.

Ill only ever record the odd ride out, at most 5 or 6 times a year, then it will sit there gathering dust.

When it comes to stuff like this though, I get an idea in my head, and the money just burns a hole in my pocket till I have to get it.
that sounds EXACTLY like me lol. I have so much sh1t bought in the heat of the moment, a £200 remote control drift car being a prime example :thumbup:
CBR125 - XJ600S DIVERSION - YZF600R THUNDERCAT - VTR1000 FIRESTORM
I still crave a supermoto...

To give you and example of what is invloved I'll explain.

The night before a ride out I will make sure
* my memory cards are emptied
* Batteries are charged
* lens is clean

When I get home
* Make sure there is enough room on my pc
* Copy the 15-25gb of footage on to pc

Let the editing begin
* Review footage 8O
* Try and remember who is who 8O
* Choose suitable footage
* Choose music
* Cut, splice, transition etc.
* Render, review, recut if necessary
* Final review and updload to youtube.
* Share.

So capturing the footage is the easy bit.

I should do more. If I was carl, i'd probably add "Create storyboard" and "use multiple cameras off and on the bike" :P :thumbup:
“Only by constantly developing your insight and knowledge can you fulfil your responsibility to ride safely and effectively”
“He who rides fastest, rides alone!"

i find it helps if i reset the cam, set the time & date, and format the card with the cam menu rather than from windows, as in the past ive had issues copying files to the pc - when i put the card in it asks if i want to format now.... and the files are corrupted.
dont get this issue when the card is formatted in the cam.
same thing with gopro and drift.
You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defence if you do not mention when posting something which you later rely on in quote. Anything you do say may be ripped to sh*t.
