ground clearance issues?
Re: ground clearance issues?
It seems weird that you are having these issues, given that the bikes we are discussing are all the same. My worries would be a) has a previous owner fitted a different shock which is shorter than stock thereby reducing clearance, b) when re-assembling the bottom link it has been replaced upside down. Benny did this deliberately to lower his Storm, but it would lose clearance. Just a thought before you spend out on rearsets.

Good call Kev. Inever knew about this one.when re-assembling the bottom link it has been replaced upside down. Benny did this deliberately to lower his Storm, but it would lose clearance.

I think your right. He needs to look the bike over. If it's sitting more upright it possibly has a shock spacer already in place and has had a longer stand fitted to counteract the added lean from the spacer. If there is a spacer it's unnecessary on this bike as you have the Revolution upgraded forks. A spacer is only a temporary fix for Storms that have standard suspension set up.
