What they wanted to use it for instead, that I think you may have misinterpreted MiztaZiggy, is that they were gonna use it during ads to see if people left the room or not. If you stay and watch adverts during films you get rewarded, whereas you wouldn't if you went and made a cuppa

Yeah probably, but knowing how innocent and trustworthy Microsoft is, along with third party developers that get access to it, you really think they won't use it to maximise profits in every way possible?

Oh yes, buy our shitbox, yes it's capable of spying on you, but we promise we won't....honest.

2 years in when sales dry up, you will see all this come into effect.

I dunno I ain't getting one  I'm not putting the possibility past them, but they haven't mentioned it yet and they won't do while competition is fierce between then and Sony. It will be after people have been suckered into buying it, if it does happen I guess. Oh well, reasons why PC is better

Just think of a computer as a switchboard that communicates like Morse code, but instead of flags it uses on and off. Oh and the processor is like the postal sorting office and it sends everything out to an address on your hard drive. It has postal workers in the form of RAM working for it it, slow temporary ones in the form of VRAM (2nd class) and faster ones in the form of real RAM (1st class), they then give the post to the Cache who then gives it to the processor to sort out and send back out to the appropriate address.
