I'm counting the days until you start wanting another SP2. Don't go selling too many parts.

Have fun and ride safe.

WELL.

first thing i noticed is how quiet it is! it souds like a car!
then, its extremely light, very easy to paddle around when parking. something i struggled with on the sp.
acceleration is Very brisk!
it will quite happilly poote through villages at 20mph in 5th and pull away clean, 6th from 25-30. very tractable and smooth indeed.
the riding position is very comfy - did an easy 300 mile yesterday with no gripes - if anything i'd say it's less leany forwardy than the sp.... and the low(ish) screen really isnt that bad.
i was expecting to get buffeted about but no. even with my going slow helmet, which is loody awful on the sp at over 80mph with a zeroG db.

fuel economy - its got a miles?L display and i saw it varying between 11 & 18 - work that out!
average for the day was 14.9 mile /L which works out at 67.8mph!!! WTF!!! 8O
and we werent dawdling either!

thats twice what i was getting on the sp and storm!
im sure that will drop when im using it proper but still!

handling - faultless.
braking - amazing, even the back brake
tyres? its got bt s20r which i havent seen before, but yeh, theyre fine.. feels great, though they were a bit shredded by the time i got home lol.

ive just made a few chages. like fitting an evotech rad guard as the rad is Very exposed right behind the front tyre... and took off the pilly seat and fitted a nice oem cowl.
nd done the exhaust flapper mod... its got a flapper which stays shut until 4000rpm, but it was annoying me a bit yesterday by constantly changing tone as the revs went up and down around 4k.

when it gets to 8k its like someone has shoved a rocket up yer butt and lit it! 8O OMFG it flies! :D

cant wait to do more miles on it and do it justice.
very very good machines these - although the build quality is not a patch on the sp (as i expected)
the fairings and bodywork are very lightweight and theres lots of plastic clips and stuff, whereas on the sp it wouldve been a hooj ally casting!

someone asked yesterday if its better than the sp....
thats like asking if is an apple better than a pear!
