What does Broch translate as, I've not heard that term. Is it house (hoose), area or what. :confused

Scots: The Broch or Faithlie

You are also correct in calling it a house Carl.
A broch is an Iron Age drystone hollow-walled structure of a type found only in Scotland.

Nice one. :thumbup: and the stone makes sense to me knowing that there are a lot of stone buildings up there to withstand the weathering.
