i'll happily have a sticker on my bike.......

Hi Dianne, I personally am pleased that you are joining us on the forum, albeit in such awful circumstances, please don't just lurk.BennysSister wrote:Hi all - I'm Benny/Martin's sister
Hope you don't mind me lurking in the background on the forum, although I do have my own leathers and have been known to ride pillion, so I'm half a biker, much to our mum's horror![]()
Just wanted to say this is a great idea - will probably want some stickers for myself (am I allowed to put them on a push bike?!) and confirm his birth year as 1964. I know he wasn't looking forward to his 50th next year but have to say this is a rather extreme way of avoiding it...
Now I do like this idea but I can see issues with getting the art work & also you would need two colour printing to get the white letters on the gold (?) background... I'll have a word with the art department.MJONESY wrote:Just a thought but what about a sticker that looks like a pack of Benson an hedges fags since that's where his user name came from with the wording in white something like RIP 1964 - 2013 ?
Me too :-)agentpineapple wrote:i'll happily have a sticker on my bike.......
I'm thinking all along that this should be a simple one line tribute sticker. For your bike, push or otherwise, helmet, guitar, toolbox or whatever.cybercarl wrote:Benson and Hedges font wont be out there in the public domain and certainly wont be free. It's more than likely their own custom font. Plus your starting to introduce complicated colours and printing patterns. And then what about the warning labels or whatever that is part of the design on fag packetsNice brainstorming but practicality, no. It needs to be a simple bit of text a bit like our VTR Forum stickers and maybe an outline of his bike or something. Maybe helmet and gloves This all depends on the size/constraints of the area that they can be stuck on too.

Definitely one for me
Cheers Clive, will bear that in mind, the crack artwork team are working on it at the moment...that is if they aren't playing cricket or doing whatever house sitters do...cliveyandrews wrote:Once you get the design ideas together, send 'em to me. I work in Pre Press, and I also have the services of a first class designer. I can't get them cut - but can certainly work the design and typography....
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk and my fat fingers and thumbs....
Good find & good idea...the sticking point is the small TM on the logo...pinkyfloyd wrote:
