I had a scottoiler on my ZX9R and never bothered to clean the rear end as it only lasted a day or too, that was with the damn thing set really low too. :-(
You can get different oil for the scottoiler thick for warm weather and thin for cold weather, like the pillock I am I bought the wrong one, that's probably why it's a bit messy
H/B, I'm not suggesting you do this, but a lot of bikers with chain oilers seem to have a tendency to set them at to high of a feed rate, that's why you end up with oil going more places than you want it. I'm not sure what happened to yours Jamie, as that shouldn't happen 8O

I could be talking garbage here, but I think the the thinner Scott oil is the one we need for this country, the thicker is for hotter climates.

The only thing I don't like with my Scottoiler is the single sided feed. I have thought about getting the double sided feed, but that's a far as I've got.

Damn, still can't afford new C&S's, I've spent too much money on cans, screens & other non-urgent gizmo's, doh!

Hopefully will get some sorted before the Wales trip. The rear sprocket is 'hooked' but front sprocket & chain look tip top. :-(

What do you guys think of this...? Fingers crossed...
