Sadly, I completely agree with MacV2. Only time a seat should be recovered with one like these is if it's the only CHEAPER option of repairing a damaged seat.
A customized seat should be just that. Had Chaos Customs do my one-off CBR seat and they done an amazing job (never-mind the seat doesn't match the bike but I'm hardly a fashion stylist so I don't care!). I drew up a Koi for the front (left) and let the fabricator go wild with an oriental (sort of wave) design for the rear right and to be fair, it gets a fair few compliments.
Chaos Customs are now picking and choosing what jobs they take on and fortunately for me, I have a good rapor with the owners husband so when I get the VTR seat done, that's who I'll be going to and it will be custom, maybe a thinly embroiled dragon outline or something along those lines, haven't give it to much though yet!
I'm not death to power tools... If it breaks, it's obviously NOT a power tool!!!
