phew got the blighter out re tapped it just pleased its sorted
gunna put it on with some stainless flanged bolts instead I think

got forks changed today with new front wheel fitted (thanks toonarmy)
put exhaust back on ect back running didn't want to leave it months and not run it
next job change the seized chain adjusters and back wheel grease up rear linkage while im at it

hi Paul, just a thought, while you've got the suspension linkages off you could drill, and tap them and fit grease nipples ,there are pictures and a topic on it on this site, if what's left of my memory serves me right.

thanks think I read about it somewhere might just do that
be a lot easier in the future tryin to keep this bike, instead of spending loads on it an sellin
it on, like ive done with all my others lol

Hi Paul you should not put stainless bolts or studs into ally, it causes a chemicle reaction and never wants to come out again. If you must do it use an anti sieze lube like copper slip.
