Bottle jack & piece of ply under the sump lifts the front a treat. Note this is in conjunction with a rear paddock stand or Abba stand. On its own it will be too unstable.

Hello Mate, I have a belly pan fitted so its a pain to jack it up on the sump

He is a sound honest chap. And knows what he is doing. Once you get used to them there awesome

It is but it's a lot less hassle than hanging the bike from a rope. Not sure if a headstock stand/jack will allow access to remove the forks but I'd guess it don't and if it did, it would only be in the way. What's there to remove the belly pan, couple of 10mm nuts and bolts or something. No biggie.
