Well I think finally my job is done.... Taken a bit of advice.. Cleaned up alloys bits, header, fitted the correct foot rests (scrounged a set for free :P )... tended to couple small runs, although not perfect I ain't gonna be worrying about them, it is a 15 year old bike after all. Everything else has cleaned up a peach, tbh the more I look at the bike the more I want to keep it lol

Bit of dust on it from doing other work.. so MOT later this week then just wash and wax and ready to go :)

One more thing though... Do you think it be a sin if I leave the white wheels on? Was gonna swap for black rims but kinda like the current look.

I like the White wheels  Looks fantastic and TBH if I had the money I would be tempted myself. Mines a wreck in comparison

looks good mate, white wheels aren't my cup of tea, also a seat cowl really improves the look of a storm. all in all a nice bike, the paint work will be better than most storms of that vintage...

Well that's one for the white wheels and one against... my mate likes em in white and I don't mind them so that's good enough for me.. I will leave them white lol It will just save me the trouble of swapping wheels about.

I agree with the storms look better with the seat cowl however they don't fit this cover too good... tried cowl off my bike but it sticks up at the rear a bit... enough that it don't look right. Chances are with a bit of fiddling and or trimming a cowl could be made to fit but didn't want to buy another cowl to test this and find that it didn't work out so left that as a possible small project for any future owner.
