I agree with Jamie but has to have Austin racing exhaust, sounds like a world superbike.

There is one for sale on net without electronics pack for 8 grand with the Austin exhaust, I think the exhaust is 1700 quid on its own, so worth it in my eyes.

In no particular order:

Harley Davidson (I am NOT a Harley guy but you gotta admit that lumpy idle sounds cool.)
Moto Guzzi V-twin
Manx Norton at full cry
TZ Yamaha wound up tight
Arial Square Four
My 5th Gen VFR with its gear driven cams
Norton Commando
Greeves Griffon (we had one of these at the shop where I used to work. One winter we got it out and serviced it, rolled it outside and I asked Rex, "why the two straight pipes?" He said "That's to let the loud out." He wasn't kidding. When he started it, it sounded like a continuous shotgun blast going off. It was actually very powerful.
Honda CBX
Triumph Trident T150 or T160

I have always loved waking up in the morning to the sounds of Harleys starting up and being rode off Sunday mornings at bike rallies, I know I own a Harley sportster but I just love the sound.

Any V or parallel twin TBH sounds good to me but Harleys have been my favourite.

I also like the sound of my ZX6R at full scream from the yoshimura pipe.

There used to be a stud in our village who back in approx 1985/86 had a brand new Honda NS400 (2stroke triple)...that thing sounded gorgeous and looked amazing at the time. Not many about either.

Must have had pipes on it as I remembering them on tickover sounding like a kettle boiling, did nothing for me except want a cuppa
Everything else about the NS400 I liked though

 especially when they're running on Castrol R :D

I like the sound of most twin cylinder bikes, three cylinders or six cylinder engines have that unique sound which is a close second to twin cylinders for me. I also like the sound of old school British single cylinder bikes.

In no particular order my list would be, impossible to narrow it down to one :)

Honda CBX1000 six
Triumph T150/160 trident
BSA DBD34 Goldie
Suzuki GT750 kettle with ex chambers
Honda VTR1000 Firestorm, of course
Matchless G80 500 single cylinder
Triton 650 twin
Benelli 900 Tornado

there must be more, so I'll be back to add them

Chris.
