I know (sigh) but either I fix it or part it out. A new (used) engine is going to put me over budget with shipping. Out on the east coast and the west coast the population density is higher and you have a better chance of finding someone with the parts you need. I think the same can be said for many parts of the UK. I live in the big middle of nothing. The population density is pretty thin and to make matters worse I live in Harley Davidson country. If I needed Harley parts it wouldn't be a problem. (Everyone needs Harley parts!)cybercarl wrote:I was just thinking the same thing. If you split the cases JIm you looking at replacing more bearings, gaskets, oil seals etc etc. It all adds up.
