ha-ha was just thinking the same thing, mine was that colour 1st bike was Raleigh runabout 2nd effort was the fizzy . :)

a little update on the slow progress of this which now winter is here will hopefully speed up :D

had a few more parts coated

the swing arm just needs the big bearing pressing in and that will be ready, doing the wheels and forks next.

No, it would be knackered by now and rotting in a corner somewhere.
You never appreciate classic bikes when you own one, it's only when you later try to buy one.....
In my case one of the first 100 Triumph Trident ray gun pipes, four speed box, drum brakes 750's.
i can't afford one now, even to buy back my old knackered one :lol:

Plastic coating is done by nb coatings at pontefract. I'll be doing the engine covers in the same gloss black and simonize engine enammell for the rest of it.

so you slipped an 1100 engine in and discuised it with gold trimmings ... nice one :thumbup:

I assume it was used for drag racing with that wheelbase and low stance.......... the old Superbike Magazine Ult Street Bike?
