the trx is another modle like the storm with a basicley good engine and frame just suffering from cheap running gear.most yzf fzr etc parts go on with verry little hastle and that alows you to use the bike as nature intended.power wise they are closer to a ducati 900ss than the storm.but they can realy go with the right running gear.

My keeper has R6 blue-spot calipers, braided hoses, R6 rear shock, uprated fork springs. K&N air filter, carb kits, Gibson cans and goes okay but handles better. Nowhere near as outright fast as a Storm, but enough and handles like it's on rails.
