Ok, here's the image as promised which you should be able to take to any engineering shop in the country and ask them nicely to make for you for peanuts 8)
Image

Not included on the diagram are the 2 placement pins.
Details are as follows

1 x 20mm diameter solid bar, 255mm long & tapered to a point.
The hole for the locking pin is 150mm from the point

1 x M20 threaded bar, 280mm long & tapered to a point
A bit of metal rod is welded to the end to enable it to be wound in
tight without using tools.
I would be inclined to try and get a nut welded on the end instead as
one end of it broke off mine and its quite a tight fit/PITA to do up

As I said earlier IMO the horizontal width could easily be reduced by at least 50mm without causing any problems whatsoever.
Although its never caused me any problems the 2 pins do seem quite a long way out when they're holding up the bike (still supports my lardy butt sitting on it though)
Also the height of the uprights doesn't really need to be any more than probably 600mm but at least the extra height means you could add more holes & bolts to accomodate other bikes

Hope the wait was worth it. Any more info, feel free to ask
I've got an inferiority complex
But its not a very good one!
