I went with my brother for the full weekend, 3 days of great entertainment! :D
Awesome, if you've never seen or heard a motogp bike flat out you don't know what you are missing!
To top the weekend off, after the last race of the day we walked round a part of the track and actually got into the pits, we had a really good look around. Then we saw a little crowd around a Yamaha team truck, had a quick look to see what was going on when Rossi came out of the back of the truck!
Couldn't quite get close enough for an autograph but I got a good pic! :D

Amazing weekend as always!
MotoGP is awesome, Rossi is a genius, all the riders are brilliant. But I do agree about Pedrosa, he should smile a lot more!!

Ooh, can we start that debate again??
IMO Gibbers left a stupid/ huge gap on the last corner# which Rossi went for.
The only reason for the contact was Gibby trying to muscle it out and failing
There were a lot closer overtakes on sunday but everyone accepted they'd been outbraked and dealt with it accordingly

#see Rossi's line into last corner at donny for a 'how to not leave the door open' masterclass

No debate needed, sete blew it that time.

I wish sete would get his act together again soon (after his injuries heal of course), I miss rossi messing with his mind.

Why do we always do that?
Get all excited when someone great arrives and then rubbish them for being too good??

Like Doohan said a few years back "What do you want me to do? SLow down?"

Its not Rossi's fault he's head and shoulders above everyone else -he's even given himself a handicap by moving to a crap team (relatively) which Doohan and Sheene never did and nor has/will Schumacher

Cuppa,
Amen to that sentiment, it was very funny to watch

my faves:
Colin Edwards wrote:"If anyone can ride this Aprilia faster, I'll give them a blow job" - explaining the difficulties of riding the RS3
Colin Edwards wrote:"I had a hard on in practice, then went soft, I wish I had a hard on now" - to Suzi Perry concerning tyres
As for Rossi, I love seeing a true master at work. MotoGP is such that even a rider with the skills that Rossi obviously has is no sure thing for a win, as we've seen this season. Anyone who can take an underperforming bike, qualify shite, ride a full race injured and still stick it to the best bikes and riders in the field deserves all the success they get.

His personality is like it or loathe it, me, I love the fun he brings to the non-racing side, the professionalism he brings to the race and the emotion he shows. When the Yammy cut out on him and he was sat on it, parked at the side of the track the other week made you want to cry.

Have to give credit to Hoppo though for kicking the crap outta his Suzuki when it did the same.

when he started he was great... but now it's just got too boring... just like schumacker in F1.
I cant believe you lot.
Like him or not Rossi had the balls to leave Honda for a "lesser" team.
Im no expert but what he did was NOT the act of a F1 style big money racer whos forgotten about why hes racing in the first place.

All that Fararri stuff about the race leader slowing down to let your team mate pass, not that they ever do pass eacher other.

So, unlike Shumacker, Rossi left a dead cert behind and
went with Yamaha, and then STILL made it work.

And its just sooo much more interesting to watch that F1.
How many times did the lead change in the last 3 laps (someone will know  ).

Ok guys, I've gotta pipe up for my boy from Kentucky (I claim KY as home, Dad's from Nicky's hometown, and I went to college there). Podium 7 out of 9 races thus far? Now that he's got the whole getting the tires to last thing sorted, he's hanging in there and is dicing it up toward the end of races. I realize he botched the S-curves over there and dropped back to 11th, but still managed to reel in guys and finish 7th. I think he's going to put on another clinic at Laguna Seca this year.

As for Rossi, the way he's been riding with a busted hand and a shite chassis setup before that is nothing short of stellar. He's simply not human.

ROSSI = Deus on any machina ...and if he would teach me how to ride like him, he can puncture my chocolate starfish... Anytime,[apparently he;s hung like a fkin Barbarian] ...the fastest queer on the planet , the fruit is on his bannanna...he could do with a haircut tho...
Colin edwards... laid back style..rapier like sense of humour if he was a brit,he would be The Gentleman of MotoGP I like him
