I was looking at a brand new, zero miles Ducati 900SS the other day...

Just shy of 4 grand! 8O

Used prices on SP's are very strong :( 4.5k for a 1 and 5.5k for a 2. Compared to around 2k for a minter Storm.
Voted most likely to be found dead in park bushes following an act of autoerotic asphyxiation.

You are quite right Kitch
but could you put up with the drop in horse power.
The SP makes about 50 Bhp more than the the Duke thats got to be be worth a couple of k. What about the Falco? it's similar to the Storm for out put and handles well. What are the prices like for that.

SP1-2s seem to hold their value really well, probably due to the fact that there is not that many knocking about and exclusivity.

I like the look of the Falco (also fairly rare) and would look at a Mille. I would worry a bit about the reliability though, especially the RSV...although some people swear by them. You can pick up an 04 Falco for under 4K
