Played fork merry go round.

Forks off Neu Red...Returned now Rodgered Smerkin Joe forks on to Red for now.

Swapped some springs around leaving Nue Reds forks with old std springs & spacers.

Progressive ones will go into Custard Crumble some time soon...

Washed C/C

Gave up & came in coffee & a fag & catch up with the BSB followed by Moto GP.

Rode it for the first time since early October, felt ok but not very fast, nothing wrong with it just wanted another 30hp  first time trying out my WP shock too, again felt fine but I wasn't exactly cornering fast as the roads are still a bit sh1tty and it was cold, will have to see what it's like with more rides and improved conditions, I not sure if the rebound adjuster is working but the way it's set feels alright for now :)

I put front and rear indicators on the sp2.
The bike came with standard ones on ( now sold) and I wanted to fit something a little more flush-mount on the front, and (temporarily) something smaller on the rear.
I found some small teardrop shaped clear ones which didn't offend, but sadly were just too small, and dropped neatly into the hole in the rubber surrounding the indicator hole. The SP1 and 2 indicator holes are the same as the Firestorm.

So I cut a template from some carbon fibre sheet, cut to the same profile, and shaped to extend the base size of the indicator. The carbon section sits neatly on the fairing hole surround, and gives the indicator a rubber mount.
Internally, there's a strap going across the rear of the hole vertically, with the indicator nut behind.
Image
It's nice an equal as a border- the angle I photographed it makes it look uneven.Image

The rear ones are a bit unusual- at least; I haven't seen these before.
Image
They are very small, but very bright- there's an internal mirror and lens, which focusses the light directly backwards, but also allows the ight to be seen from all other directions.
For now they're fitted into the original indicator mounts, with a small spacer behind in order to give them a bit more visibility from the opposite corner, so you can see the RH one better from the left rear, and vice versa.

(The rears are temporary. I'll be fitting a carbon undertray on the small rear button indicators will be fitted into the undertray).
And I fitted a plug-in relay to make them flash at the same rate.

today I spent a few hours flying round some fantastic new roads, these roads never fail to put a smile on my face, it's good to be putting some riding time in again.

London can be pretty in it's own unique way. the thing that strikes me the most out here, is the lack of traffic, at one point I must have been riding for 5 miles and didn't see another vehicle, you can't beat it....

Not had time to ride it yet. But have read more than once that they produce more power but need changing more often.
