Looking good Mr V2  . On the subject of modding non standard calipers to fit! Does anyone think this affects safety/operation in any way?

Since I'm waiting for some bits for the R6 I've not got much to do so, gasp, I've been riding...

3 hours on the KTM today. elbow ache eventually stopped play. Impressed with the front Conti TKC 80. Feels very planted. Rear knobby now just about completely shot.

Fired the old girl up after its winter hibernation and rode her home (it spent the winter at my friend Jack Flash's, he of Superhawkforum long fuel screw fame, as we removed the frame and had it reinforced and powdercoated). Sure felt nice to ride it again. The newly installed LED voltage indicator shows issues with the charging system (could explain my bad luck with lithium batteries) so I will have to look into this matter. Also, it ran a bit off on the low-end (made a few slight changes to the velocity stacks and airbox, so some fine-tuning was/is to be expected). I made a few small changes with the Flo-Commander (pilot circuit) and got it closer but, as I am waiting for the HDJ needle jet-equipped carbs to arrive (are currently in transit, should be here this week), I will save my quota of jetting energy for those.... Here's to hoping for a hassle-free and most enjoyable summer....

no not yet, but given the noise when I got it running for a few seconds I'd say it was pretty much terminal
