I love what you have done to your tire! I'll bet it was fun.
It was great fun, although very weird being on a short circuit with cars though.
I should have dropped a few psi on the tyres before going on the short circuit but I forgot, so the tyres got a bit hot. Highly recommend Bridgestone BT023's though, good compromise for long trips mixed with track time!

I was going to fit the pair of Thundercat forks I bought in the week, and then fit the shorter dog bones on the rear shock, and then fit my new tank protector but in the spirit of riding it rather than buggering around with it I took it for a thrash to Brighton instead.....

Fancied a quick local blast, but by the time I got out it was nearly three, and there was way to much traffic, so I cut it short,
got back and cleaned both the bike and the car

Washed the bloody thing! Jeez, the must have been half the flies in the Dales hitching a ride on it 8O
Also got it booked in for a new front tyre in the morning. Looks like I exchanged some rubber in the Dales for flies and dirt :D

Gave the Storm a deep clean after the Dales trip. Fitted a new BT021 rear tyre, the old BT016 was shagged with cracks in the middle and ready to show the cords. Not bad for 3200 miles though and it was still performing well, even in the rain.

suzikiness :confused You haven't got rid of the SP have you Pete....surly not.

I done a little work on my bike today. Started to use the side of an angle grinder with metal cutting disc to sand down some fiberglass I filled on the tail fairing. The angle grinder didn't sand to well  so gave up and used the dremmel with the flappy 80 grit wheel instead which took bloody ages to sand down. I'm still itching. I might get out and put some P38 on tomorrow. Got a little dent in the tank to fill too.

went for a 180 ride towards the pyrenee's mountains. visited a race track which has a restaurant and swimming pool, watched a few bmw s1000rr's running practice laps. stopped to take in the amazing scenery. I also rode past the spot where ck had his accident, the oil stain is still there
the ride put a massive smile on my face for the rest of the day

Get some flap wheels for the grinder Carl.

I have a 4 1/2" grinder & use these.

No need to get fine ones, 40 grit are great. Just use the worn ones if you need a less savage discs. Ideal for fibreglass, stainless, aluminium or woodwork
