ebay problem re those cylinder heads!

got an email telling me i had been outbid when i was in manchester today so thought ah well wasn't mad keen on them at that price anyway and arranged to spend the money elsewhere

Image

got home to find an email saying a bid had been removed and i am now the high bidder, wtf! surely ebay should have asked me if i was still interested??

Image

i suspect it was this seller getting bids put to see what i had bidded up to and then retracted the bid made by a friend or significant other

anyway i have sent an email to the seller,

where do i stand with this now as i can't afford it now i've put the money elsewhere?

email sent to seller>

hello whilst i was out in manchester today i received an alert from ebay telling me i had been outbid on your item, so i ah well and spent the spare cash elsewhere.

I've got home from the concert and found that i'm now the only listed bidder and i have an email from ebay saying a bid had been canceled and that i am now the high bidder again, i now no longer have the disposable cash and would like my bid to be canceled please

Thanks

Seb

:wtf: Weird..... I don't understand why people retract bids or even bid in the first place, why not just snipe :confused

It's not me bidding on it, I decided days ago not to bother. Just watching out of curiosity now! If they went for £200 it would be worth it, but no more, and I figured they would go right up closer to the end of auction. Either by seller pushing the price, shilling or genuine bidders.

The seller has had three bids retracted! They must be thrilled.

Anyone else fancy bidding on those tuned heads? Only 7 mins to go, so don't consider retracting it!!!! :whatever

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/firestorm-ste ... 4abd367b18
damper on ebay but its only 400mm long 130 stroke.
for a side mount damper on the firestorm it needs to be 460mm long 165mm stroke
so if your bidding on and win it, and it fits let me know so i can compile a list of what fits and what dont

That's a bit of history there that is. Including plastic drinks bottle behind the screen, :)
