Last week passed its MOT with no problems.

Today bunged on a refurbished seat I'd had re-covered by a local auto upholsterer (A J Watts Trim Shop, Colchester > https://www.facebook.com/andy.watts.92317) who I went to school with - bargain at £30.

Thought I'd take it out for a bimble to the coast and found when approaching some roadworks a distinct lack of gear lever - thankfully it was still attached but dangling by the linkage as the pivot bolt had bailed out somewhere down the road. Mmmm what to do Ahhh! an exhaust link pipe retainining bolt should fit which was a enough of a bodge to get me home and through a thunderstorm just up the road.

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Mot'd Custard today...

Pass with two advisories...

001 (Slight play in rear wheel bearings)...Strangly enough I have a set in stock...

002 (Slight forward & back movement in OSF brake disc) * DANGEROUS * ...Should be able to rob one off one of the other Storms in the MacCave.

& I didnt hear him say that my number plate was an unwell large bird of pray...or something or other...

Also had a new pair of tyres put on Bridgestone 023's... Had a new rear put on this when I first got it off Geoff as the rear was foooked...Continetal to match the front...Just shy of 6K of commuting that rear is shagged...TBH it has been a bit 'white liney' for some time, squared off somewhat so I cant complain at 6K form the rear really can I ? That was £112 fitted to a loose wheel 0.018 p per mile ?

The Tyres today were £235 the pair fitted...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
