[quote="agentpineapple"]had a ride out this afternoon, tried to get the last out of my rear tyre, tried to concentrate on accelerating harder whilst leant over. even stopped and took a few pictures. then got home and thought i'd lost my phone, so went back out to look for it, only to find it later, it had worked it's way into the lining of my jacket doh!!

Marty, glad you haven't lost your phone after all :D

I suppose you want your password changed back again now

Chris.

I seem to recall you doing that with your phone once before. Slipping down the lining sounds familiar. So how long before you going to be wanting some knee sliders. Don't get caught in the UK with a back tyre like that

I still can't get my knee anywhere near the ground, but that's because I don't move around the seat much. I still enjoy myself, and I get all the way over the tyre. I hate to say it, but i'm going to have to go for a sports touring tyre next, I briefly tried a pr3 rear, and I didn't really like it, but is that because I've been spoiled by the 2ct being so grippy.
maybe I should give the pr3 another chance. maybe it would help if I changed the front to a pr3 as well.

I have a couple of good PR3's here if you want them you can have them but they are on the spare wheels. Somebody may as well make use of them.

Decent....they virtually brand new as I then got those wheels off duffy and put the Sportsmax on. If they don't get used they will only sit on my shed roof until they go past their used by date.

Rode it to Box Hill, met a few great guys off here, then came home and met Henry (Controller) who bought my high level, carbon Migs and put them in a rucksack and rode back to Canterbury, the mad b8stard!

Did about 700 miles in the highlands of west Scotland over the weekend. Glen Coe etc.. plus the wiggly bits. Bright sun and blue skies all the way!

Interestingly had a go on a CB1000R. The un-faired model. What a lovely bike. Felt like a mini-bike sitting on top of it. Smooth torquey engine with plenty of top end, decent enough suspension. But.... over a certain speed (private roads only) it was impossible. Not enough room to tuck in. Arms and head in the breeze. A couple of miles and you felt as if you'd been a boxing ring. They need to put a fairing on it......

Ha ha they did but an ugly fecker. I had my Repsol one, but now got the CBF . to be honest the Brakes and Suspension on the CB1000r are great but i am not a lot slower on the CBF. I did about 360 mile today and really comfy.

put a 6 spoke rear wheel back on, as it has a pr3 tyre on it, and ordered some led rear light bulbs via ebay....

Washed the shite off it today after our 'Talk baldrocks" trip. I made the mistake of lubing the chain and then riding it  The back wheel took some serious cleaning. Yes i love white wheels but they do need cleaning after every ride.
