Had a great weekend, I hadn't ridden the roads to the north of the county for a few years, happily didn't get us lost though  Great roads and views, Lloydie watch the road not the view  ride went smoothly apart from a couple of moments, They only one I had was a bump or pothole (didn't see it) the old vfr went into a 70-80 mph wobbling, weaving, bouncing spasm that went on for what seemed like ages, I was just a passenger, Jamie was right behind so might be able to explain what happened better, I can't :confused,.

Pimms by the jug was the order of the evening (I was on the real ale though)

I'll let the others fill you in on the Saturday night events, with pictures :D
It was a top night with a lot of laughs (well maybe CK wasn't laughing as much) top moment had to be the Madame Marti dance  hope the pictures come out ok.

Was great to me meet the guys who were there, hope you all have/had a safe ride home :D

bigtwinthing wrote:Well i had a great day, Met the Guys at about 0820, had a sarnie then set off to Bideford, Then Bude, then off to Lynmouth, some great roads that i struggled to keep up with, and nearly lost it on a left hander when something huge disintegrated on my visor, i stood the bike up and nearly didn't make the bend. Great leading by Popkat down some seriously twisty, hilly roads. I totally missed all the views trying to concentrate and peer through a bug infested visor. I had to leave early as on Horse duty but did 536 miles today and loved it.

Thanks Guys and great run out and great to meet other members. Good Luck tonight Chris.

Was good to meet you, glad you got back ok. Lovely Storm, probably one of the loudest I've heard, thought my VFR had a race pipe on when you were behind me

that has to be the best weekend I've ever had on a bike............
it had nearly everything, from waiting for Jamie at the M4 services, beautiful blue skies, until Jamie arrived, then it was torrential rain and thunderstorms, we hid like cowards in the petrol station for well over an hour.
the ride out on Saturday was amazing, massive thanks to BOB, for leading us around devon, other than some stretches of road with loose chippings on, it was great, I even managed to scare myself silly by grounding out my side stand on left handers.... :eek2
I missed lloydies indiscretion, but I advised him that next time, I want a handful of berries.....
oh and no more chicken strips...... :D
there's just too much to write up, btw madame marty only makes rare appearances....
