I made the same move on my bike too. I tried the Yoshi hi-mount supports (I had bought on the jauce.com site late last summer) but due to an interference fit between the can and the swingarm brace and hugger, I had to use spacers to get the can out about 2cm and it just looked odd... so, back to low-mount link pipes... Oh well, tried it...

For me, I have way too big of feet to even think about running high mounts.......Guess I'll just have to live with that low mount Akra system.....

ay the high mount Remus links got in the way, strangly the mori high levels dont?

but on another note, the blue one?

took it down to the coast this morning, without touching it at all. the 5/6k dead zone has packed its bag, a little dead spot right on 4k which nearly starts to splutter but not quite. above 4 and below 4, it is clean flying again.. like proper sharp.

i have no answer for this, stumped but glad to get my bike back

Rode her and clocked over 65k,

Tear down to do the valves and a few other niggly things.

Image

Have now removed the air box and running out of time .

Have 3 days off from Wednesday, will tackle the valves then, just getting it ready.

Haven't checked the valves in a while, hope all is well however I have a feeling by the noises it is making that there could be a couple out of wack.

The white paint and polishing on the wheels always catch my eye, the front end looks very good too 8)

Good luck doing the valve clearances,

Chris.

Tony,

Work on a couple of other bikes, mow the lawn, go for a couple of surfs, take the missus out .

Double demerit points here in Oz at the moment so best not to ride.

Will maybe mod airbox, grease a few linkages and tidy up some wiring on the VTR.

Finished the valves , had to adjust 3 and the front chain needed a tweak.

Both exhaust valves on front cylinder , 1 inlet valve rear cylinder.

Now putting back together.
