well i am sure you will all be glad to know there was snow on the a44 between rhayader and aberystwyth today and the camp site in rhayader was looking very soggy with some even soggier looking tents on it :D :thumbup:

WTF?. It should be warm by now. They are saying that May is likely to be the coldest May since records begun although that's over on the east coast so we should be ok?

yeah thats what i thought, its april and its snowing, was just raining near rhayader, i got drenched hanging a 12ft gate that some **** decided to demolish the other day, I'm sure the weather will pick up by then. :problem:

probably not the friday night, thinking of stopping the sat night though, planning on nipping home after the rideout dumping the bike and jumping in the van, i will probably kip in the back of that then, i will be stopping down winchester Wednesday and Thursday and getting a flying start back home friday morning to be back in time to join you for the spin on the friday afternoon. :thumbup:

route looks good AL,

Dont think i have ever been down the bit from Builth wells to the a44 so will try and get out next weekend see what its like, a470 from llysdinam to builth is a bit boring since they built a bypass but if the a481 is as good as it looks then its worth it :D

The road from llanidloes over to llanbrynmair is not what most would call a great biking road but well worth the ride down there just for amazing scenery :eh:

I think benny would be better asked about the bits north of dolgellau, i dont tend to venture up north on the bike much, still not got out the habbit of not going up there because of brunstrom forget hes gone,

the only change i would make is instead of out of aber via the a44 is to go a4120 through devils bridge, its a bit more interesting than that first bit of the a44 :thumbup:
