That's close to what I was thinking. Think I'll try some photo-chopping on it and see where I get.

This bloke in Germany has cut down the front fender, I think it looks good.
Can't quite work out why I don't like the look, doesn't gel somehow.

Sorry guys, not a lots been going on.... Have however got the tank and seat cowel in satin black. Funny you say that about the gloss, I've been wondering if I've got too much satin / matt.

Will try and get some photos tomorrow but won't be any real progress untill Xmas...

Thought I'd post a pic of my work in progress as this thread is dead at the moment, still needs a few things to get it registered, then come winter time I plan on changing the fuel tank to a vfr800 one for the extra capacity and I'll also change the subframe and tail.

Hello all, been a while since my last post, so long it looks like I've got thread squatters :D

There's been a bit of progress got the tank and the seat in paint:

And I've also repaired the wireing loom, it's all nice and solder jointed now and I've gotten rid of all the terrible things the last guy did to it.

It's really just a matter of making up a few brackets now and putting it back together so watch this space....
